SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

ABSTRACT GUIDELINE FOR PROJECT REGISTRATION

  1. An abstract must be in one paragraph only, consisting of 250-400 words
  2. The abstract must be written in English. It must be free of spelling and grammar mistakes. 
  3. An abstract contains background, problem statement, objective, methodology, novelty, benefits to society etc.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES FOR VIRTUAL PARTICIPANTS
There are FOUR (4) components for submission:

1. 5-minute video

a) Content: Background, Problem statement, Objective, Methodology, Findings, Contribution to Society, and Project Demo. 

b) Evaluation: Will be used by the juries for evaluation. 

c) Criteria of evaluation: The content to be evaluated is as stated in 1 (a). 

d) Naming convention: Name your video using the following format (IRIA2022(ID) -Title of the project), AND use this name for your YOUTUBE TITLE as well. PUBLISH your video on YOUTUBE for PUBLIC VIEW and provide the YouTube LINK to IRIA2022 during submission.

2. Supporting documents in a pdf format (provide them if you have).

a) Content: Copyright, Patent, IP, Commercialization, Letter of Intent, Academic Paper, or any supporting proofs

b) Evaluation: Will be used by juries for evaluation.

c) Criteria of evaluation: The content to be evaluated is as stated in 2 (a).

3. Poster

a) Content: Background, Problem statement, Objective, Methodology, Findings, and Contribution to Society.

b) Purpose: Will be used for display purposes to online audiences and juries.

c) Evaluation: Will NOT be part of the component to be evaluated by juries.

d) Poster size: A4 (210mm x 297mm), Orientation – Portrait, Formats – .png, Resolution - 300 pixel, Maximum file size – 4MB.

4. A non-disclosure agreement: a form that needs to be completed by participants during registration.

VIDEO PRESENTATION GUIDELINE

  • Presenters should be visible in both the video recording and/or within the frames/slides.

  • Please provide the organization's logo in the presentation. 

  • All video recordings should be in MP4 format. 

  • All video recordings must be in landscape format and STRICTLY NO MORE than 5 minutes. 

  • All wordings on the presentation must be clear and large enough to read.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES FOR F2F PARTICIPANTS

There are THREE (3) components for submission:

1. Poster

a) Content: Background, Problem statement, Objective, Methodology, Findings, and Contribution to Society.

b) Purpose: Will be used for display purposes to audiences and juries.

c) Evaluation: Will NOT be part of the component to be evaluated by juries.

d) Poster size:

Softcopy (uploaded thru IRIA2022 system) - A4 (210mm x 297mm), Orientation – Portrait, Formats – .png, Resolution- 300 pixel, Maximum file size – 4MB.

Hardcopy (to be printed out and used during the event) - A1 (594mm x 841mm), Orientation – Portrait.

2. Supporting documents in a pdf format (provide them if you have).

a) Content: Copyright, Patent, IP, Commercialization, Letter of Intent, Academic Paper, or any supporting proofs.

b) Evaluation: Will be used by juries for evaluation.

c) Criteria of evaluation: The content to be evaluated is as stated in 2 (a).

3. A non-disclosure agreement: a form that needs to be completed by participants during registration.

BOOTH PRESENTATION GUIDELINE

  • Presenters should focus on the content as stated in 1 (a) during the presentation.

  • Presenters should expect questions from juries during/after the presentation.

  • Presenters are allowed to make a demo of their prototype/product where necessary.
E-PROCEEDINGS

EXTENDED ABSTRACT

I-RIA 2022 will also publish e-proceeding in conjunction with the event. Participants are invited to submit an extended abstract of 4-5 pages describing your innovative project. The full paper must strictly follow the template below and contain an abstract, introduction, methodology, results & discussion, conclusion & recommendation and reference. Figures or tables must not exceed 50 per cent of the essay. We highly encourage you to proofread the article before submitting it.
